WCC Ride leaders one step closer to full Cycling BC coach certification

WCC ride leaders Frank Savage, Phil Chew, Ted Battiston & Mike Rogerson took one step closer Jan 24th & 25th to being fully qualified Cycling BC coaches. Over a warmer than normal winter weekend, the leaders combined class room and on the road curriculum of Training to Race, Road Skills & Tactics in road racing.

The first day was held in a class room at Brennan Park followed on the second day with a little class room time and many hours on the back roads of Squamish. Thankfully, with the relatively warm weather, the bike portion was a great success and a means of developing and applying skills learned. The four attended the course along with two other WCC members Tony Routley & Ben Chaddock plus 9 others from around BC.
